Check City is proud to announce the first ever winner of the Richard Rawle Memorial Scholarship.
This year, Check City is starting the Richard Rawle Memorial Scholarship, named in honor Check City’s founder, Richard Rawle. This scholarship aims to help fund students who display exceptional community service efforts.
The Richard Rawle Memorial Scholarship is named after Richard Rawle, the father of Check City CEO Tracy Rawle. Richard Rawle was a man who believed deeply in the value of higher education and was known for his dedication to family, friends, and the community. The Rawle family is excited to live as Richard did and help strengthen communities everywhere through this scholarship and providing these scholarship funds to deserving students.
Check City received over 40 applications for the newly founded, Richard Rawle Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is $2,000 awarded across two semesters to one winner each year. The scholarship is awarded to a student who shows great passion in giving back to others.
After reviewing all the 2021 scholarship applicants Angelina Xu is awarded the scholarship for her exceptional endeavors in elevating her community through volunteer work and service.
The Rawle family believes that education is essential for making communities thrive. With the Richard Rawle Memorial Scholarship, students can finance their education while supporting and elevating their communities.
