Loan Amounts
The minimum loan amount for customers is $100 with a maximum loan amount of $500.
Loan Terms
The minimum loan term is 91 days from the loan disbursement date. The number of loan term days will vary based on the borrower's pay dates.
Permissible Finance Charges
Installment loan customers will be charged an interest charge and monthly maintenance fee. The monthly maintenance fee is 10% of the amount borrowed or $30, whichever is less.
For loans that are $500 or more, customers will also be charged an origination fee. The origination fee is 2% of the amount borrowed.
Right to Rescind
A customer has the right to rescind, or cancel, the installment loan within 3 business days after the loan transaction. To rescind a loan, customers must email or fax Check City a written notice of their intent to rescind, along with written authorization to affect a debit entry to your bank account for the principal amount of the loan.

What do I need to apply for an installment loan?
To apply for an Installment Loan with Check City you will need the following:
- Complete a Customer Application
- Government ID
- Valid Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number
- Check or Bank Statement
- Email Address and Phone Number
- Proof of Income
What happens if I default on my loan?
If a check or ACH payment returns or the loan defaults, you can contact Check City’s Payment Center at (804) 729-3601.
