Check City team members volunteer at the South Utah Valley Animal Shelter (SUVAS) in Spanish Fork, helping to walk and play with the animals.
Spanish Fork, UT — On June 18, 2024, some Check City employees visited the South Utah Valley Animal Shelter (SUVAS) in Spanish Fork, Utah to volunteer. Together they helped walk the dogs and take them out on the field tracks to get some exercise. They also helped feed and play with the cats and were lucky enough to see 2 pet adoptions during their day volunteering!
Playing with and exercising the animals at the shelter helps the animal shelter in many ways. It provides exercise for the animals and also an opportunity to socialize and interact with people. Exercise helps keep the animals healthy and happy and socialization helps make the animals more friendly and adoptable! Our Check City employees had a wonderful time helping out at the animal shelter and interacting with all the lovable animals there.
The South Utah Valley Animal Shelter is located at 582 W 3000 N St, Spanish Fork, UT 84660 and are open on weekdays. If you’re also interested in volunteering at SUVAS, then you can join the Volunteers of SUVAS Facebook page to sign up for upcoming volunteering events and opportunities.
You can also visit SUVAS anytime during their business hours to help walk and play with the dogs. SUVAS also accepts donations like pet food, towels, pillows, comforters, or monetary donations.
